Therapeutic Foster Care is a planned, time-limited placement for children and youth with a treatment family. The TFC program provides homes where children receive care, structure, support and focused mental health intervention.
Children are carefully matched with licensed and trained treatment families and are under the supervision of experienced treatment managers. YBGR utilizes a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach. Treatment families are the foundation of this model and an integral member of the treatment team. Natural families are vital to the treatment team. The following services are available to Treatment Families:
- Evaluation and assessment
- Individualized treatment plans
- Educational planning
- Immediate access to 24-hour crisis intervention
- Ongoing training and development for treatment parents and staff
- Monthly therapeutic support groups
- Respite Care
Therapeutic Foster Care is active in both the Billings region and Bozeman/Livingston regions.
