Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch is not only a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility and the home of our Billings area Community Based Services, it’s still a working ranch. Over 240 acres of it’s 410 acreage is devoted to ranching and farm operations. This gives youth in YBGR’s PRTF and Day School programs a unique learning and therapeutic experience while receiving the emotional support they need.
At the center of YBGR’s ranch and farm operations is Gary Adams. Gary is the Director of Farm and Ranch Operations and the Director of Ranch Donor Relations. Gary has been a member of the YBGR family for over thirty years. A donation program near and dear to his heart is Homes for Heifers, donation raised from ranch and farm programs allows YBGR to help troubled youth gain hands-on experience with ranch, agricultural, and vocational programs.
To learn more about Homes for Heifers or other ways you can help youth in need with ranch and agricultural donations contact Gary Adams at 406-855-5230 or by email at gadams@ybgr.org
